Östermalm – Torstenssonsgatan

Departments

The preschool consists of two sections. We have a group for younger children 1-3 years and a group with older children 3-6 years. We who work in the preschool are trained preschool teachers, Montessori teachers and nannies.

Our objectives

We follow the curriculum for the preschool and the Montessori pedagogy, which is based on the children’s individual development. We treat children with love and respect. We strive to ensure that every child is seen and heard.

We offer children a well-organized, safe, beautiful and stimulating environment that challenges and encourages play and varied activities.

The Montessori preschool offers subjects such as mathematics, language, biology, geography, history, practical and sensory work in an exciting and concrete way.

Art, creativity, singing and music, free play and daily outdoor activities are also part of the program. During outdoor time, the children practice a gentle approach to nature and the environment. We also offer English to the children in the older children’s section.
