Our watchwords

Below you will find information on how to put your child on the school waiting list and what to do when it is time to choose a school for your child. Our school, like all schools in Sweden, is free of charge. If you need after-school care for your child, you pay a monthly fee to the municipality where you live. Find out more on the website of your municipality.

Registering for the kindergarten

If you live in Solna, you can register for the queue in Solna’s e-service here. In Solna, the queue rules are the same for independent and municipal preschools. Otherwise, please contact the head teacher, see contact details below.

Our queuing rules

Children attending our preschool
Children with siblings in the same household already placed at the school.
Children who have been placed in one of the preschools within the Children’s Montessori Academy
Children with the longest waiting time.

The waiting time is calculated from the date on which the guardian has submitted the waiting notification.

Choice of school for the pre-school class

School choice is relevant when it is time to choose a school for your child starting preschool. In November of the previous year we have an open house. You can find information about the dates in the news. If you are unable to attend the open day, you are welcome to contact us for a personal visit. In order for us to accept your child, we need the Choice of School form completed and signed by both guardians. Please send it either by post or email a scanned document. See address details below. In most municipalities, the choice of school must be made on the municipality’s website. Different municipalities have different procedures and different dates for when this must be done. You can find the latest information on your municipality’s website. So remember to choose our school in accordance with the procedures of the municipality in which you live.

Choice of school for years 1-3

We currently have single places in years 1-3. If you would like your child to join us, we need the Choice of School form completed and signed by both parents. Please either send it by post or email a scanned document. See address details below. Please let us know if you would like to visit the school.

Wishes for earlier school start

In some cases, you can apply for your child to start school earlier. For example, if your child was born early in the year and you want him or her to start pre-school at the age of five or year 1 at the age of six. You apply by filling in the form Application for early school start and emailing it to us. See address details below.
