About the Founders
In 1995 we founded Children’s Montessori Academy. We started with a preschool at Narvavägen 18 in Östermalm in Stockholm. Since then, many more preschools have been started and several have been given new premises. 2025 on 6/2 the company celebrated its 30th anniversary, long-term thinking is one of our strengths.
In 2017, we acquired Moderna montessori with four preschools in Bromma and Kungsholmen.
We both have a pedagogical university education and then further training as Montessori teachers for preschool and primary school, and we are both trained principals. We have also studied to train Montessori teachers and have worked for many years for Folkuniversitetet and their Montessori teacher training programs. We have long practical experience of leading and working in preschool, today we work mainly with board issues.
We both have a strong interest in personal development, health and nutrition. In addition to Montessori education, we have it as a guiding principle for our company. Our goal is to expand slowly while maintaining quality. Beauty and atmosphere are two other key words that characterize the environment of the preschools.

Our vision is to create a dynamic workplace for both children and teachers with good opportunities for physical, intellectual, social and emotional development.
